The PWS Professional Caregivers Forum is a one day forum, providing awareness and information about Prader-Willi Syndrome and the standards of care and management required when supporting and caring for a young person and adult living with PWS.

The forum covers topics such as:

What is Prader-Willi Syndrome?
Nutrition, Diet
Exercise
A perspective from service providers and parents of young PWS adults
A perspective from a young person living with PWS

This forum aims to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of young people living with Prader-Willi Syndrome and is suitable for carers, disability support workers, residential and day program staff, education and teaching staff, medical professionals, allied health services.

The first PWS Professional Caregivers Forum took place in Melbourne, 9th April 2014 and was well attended. Thanks to the Genetic Support Network Victoria and Villa Maria for helping to support this event.
